Astrek Group was founded in 1981 by the Honorary Consul to Belgium and 4 time Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) President, Mr. Ang Tshering Sherpa. Astrek initially established itself as the leading outfitter in travel and adventure tourism in Nepal. In recent years, Astrek Group has diversified its presence in hospitality, health & fitness, recreational aviation, design, manufacturing, trading and the construction industry through its fast growing chain of companies. The richness in the variety of our companies which synergise each other and the depth of experience of Astrek Group, has allowed us to maintain ourselves as one of the most renowned business groups in Nepal's tourism and hospitality industry.
